Earning Methods

Best Ways to Earn Crypto from Paid-to-Click (PTC) Ads

PTC stands for "paid to click". An advertiser pays a site to send visitors to their page for a set number of seconds, and the site pays you part of that for each visit. In crypto, PTC ads are one of the simplest earning methods, and also one of the lowest paid.

How a PTC view works

  1. You open the PTC list. Each ad shows its reward and the number of seconds you need to view it.
  2. The advertiser's page opens, usually in a frame or a new tab, with a countdown.
  3. You keep the page in view until the timer ends. Many sites pause the timer if you switch tabs.
  4. You pass a quick check, usually a captcha or picking a matching icon, and the reward is credited.
  5. Each ad can be viewed once per period, often once every 24 hours.

Why advertisers pay for this

PTC traffic is cheap, so small projects use it to get eyes on a new token, faucet, game or service. That is useful to know for two reasons. First, it is why rewards are low. Second, the ads are often for brand-new and unproven crypto projects. Viewing an ad is not an endorsement, and many of those projects are risky.

Getting the most from PTC without wasting time

  • Compare reward per second. A 30-second ad paying twice as much as a 10-second ad is worse value.
  • Do PTC in the gaps while you wait for a faucet timer, instead of as a separate session.
  • Don't sign up for or buy anything from an ad just because you viewed it.
  • Watch for fake download prompts or wallet-connect requests on advertised pages, and close them.

What about "crypto PTC sites"?

Some sites specialise in PTC, with large ad lists. Others, like ClaimSatoshi, include PTC alongside a faucet, shortlinks and offers. On a specialist site, more ads usually means more earnings per session. On a mixed site, PTC fills the time between other tasks. In both cases the reward per view is small. Use the formula in our earnings guide to see what it is worth to you per hour.

The "Sponsor Websites" section lists our own advertisers first, then partner network ads, with the reward and timer for each. Each view also gives XP toward your level, and counts toward referral commission for whoever invited you. See all earning methods.

Safety summary

  • A PTC site should never ask you to deposit money to start earning.
  • Upgrade packages that promise more per click are a business decision, not a guaranteed return. Do the maths first.
  • Never connect your wallet to, or enter a seed phrase on, an advertised page. See how to spot crypto reward scams.
